Feel free to start sharing info about our wonderful family. This will be a place to keep this great family in touch and up to date with anything from Births, Deaths, Funerals, Reunions, Family Get togethers, or any other information you would like to share. Here in the near future as this site develops, we are looking for answers to some posing family questions. For instance what ever happened to Alma Belle Davenport? Start asking our elder relatives before all this information is lost, so we can get these answers before it is too late. Hopefully this network will grow like our families have grown over the years. Start posting today in the comment section anything of interest relating to our family. For our family members who do not use Facebook our Comment Section attached to this post will now be our network for keeping up to date with our family. This will be the only post on our blog. Start sharing today......

I am Sherry Davenport Hall. I am an old retired teacher of 62 and this is my first blog so you will have to forgive the rambling. My Dad was Bertram Davenport, son of Lonnie Riley Davenport and Della Jane Kelly, hence the Davenport/Kelley-Kelly reunion. I put both spellings because along the way the name was spelled both ways and I don't want to make anyone mad by misspelling their name. Anyway, Lonnie's father was Sidney Jackson, and his father was Clabe Davenport. I will be putting some of my pics on the site as well as some of the old pictures that Daddy had of the family. I can't say enough "thank yous" to all of those that attended our 2nd annual reunion and most of all a big "thanks" to Greg for really helping to keep us out of old dusty, moldy basements/vaults of courthouses, city halls, and libraries looking for names, dates, and tidbits of info on our big family. We hope that you out there will not feel that what you know is insignificant and unimportant, because I would still be stuck on Clabe and PollyAnn if it wasn't for a little woman named EllaVee Davenport Mask sharing a couple of sheets of paper with Daddy. Again, thank you one and all for the beautiful memories and keep that info coming. What an awesome site! Love to all out there, Sherry D Hall
